ACCEPT: ACCEPTability of elicitation methods for patient meaningful differences in clinical trials
Status: Data collection
This project explores the acceptability and experiences of involving patient and public partners in determining numerical aspects of trials- to develop ways to support patient involvement in clinical trials and inform implementation of numerical elicitation methods.
ACCEPT uses a mixed methods approach to explore the acceptability of elicitation methods from patient or public partners perspective. Specifically, method to determine clinically important differences using patients’ opinion, which aims to support trial design and interpretation. The work includes literature review, development, and application of a survey to assess acceptability on method eliciting patients’ opinion to determine patient meaningful differences between treatments in a trial.
This is a PhD project embedded within the PinPoINT programme.
