Meaningful differences in men with repeated urethral stricture: what matters to patients and clinicians?

Status: Data collection

In partnership with the NHS, and colleagues from Sheffield, Newcastle and London, this projects aims to compare the long-term effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of two treatments to prevent repeated urethral stricture in men (urethrotomy with open urethroplasty in adult men).

Approaching the interpretation of results in a patient-focused way, we are working with patients and clinicians to identify meaningful differences between treatments using elicitation surveys informed by patient and healthcare professional involvement.
